Getting closer

She's up to 9 but needed more pain relief.

Getting close

Dr thinks things are going to to quickly here on out. Baby is doing well. Dialated to 5-6.

Pain relief

Well, mom has her pain blocker and the contractions are now 3-4 minutes apart.

Game on...

We're all setup at the hospital and labor is progressing with the aid of modern medicine. Everyone is comfortable and anxious.

Going home....

We're on watch but going home.

Update

Well, there's been no "real" progress since the IV was started. The doc had the IV stopped and we ordered a sandwich. If she doesn't make some more progress we may be going home in an hour or so. We'll have to see.

Patiently waiting...

Still no news to share. Mom is doing well but contractions have slowed since the IV. Although she's seeing some signs of them returning. Patiently waiting....

We're staying!

The doctor says today is "D" day. She's progressing to 3 and Mom is doing GREAT! They're starting the IV now just to keep her hydrated. We're going to let nature take it's course.

Rest

We're going to be waiting for a while. We're going to TRY and get some rest.

This could be THE DAY!

We came to the hospital at 3 AM. The contractions have been about 10 minutes apart. When the nurse checked at 4 AM she was dialated to ~1.5.
